Has anyone else had difficulty updating banking login credentials?

There are no reported issues similar to this one, @lori30.

Can you tell us if you see any error when updating you're banking information? If yes, then I can provide you some troubleshooting steps to fix this.

If it's Error 103, then this means that your banking credentials in QuickBooks Online are incorrect.

Let's perform the following steps if you've changed your bank sign-in information recently, and ran an existing connection.

Note: Make sure that your browser does not auto-fill your credentials.

  1. Go to the Banking menu, then Banking.
  2. Locate for the bank account that generated error 103.
  3. Click the Edit ✎ icon.
  4. Select Edit sign-in info.bank edit.png
  5. Enter your new credentials, then click Update.

If this isn't the case, then this could be a browser-related concern. Sometimes, large files of accumulated cache stored in the browser can cause this unexpected behavior. We can delete this and see if it can fix the issue.

To start with, let's access the account using a private window. This won't track any activity in the browser. Let's access this by pressing Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome or Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer.

If it works, we'll have to go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to improve your browsing experience. Otherwise, we can use another supported browser. This issue might stem from the browser itself and affects how QuickBooks work.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, please let me know in the comment section down below. I'll be always around ready to help.
