How can I print reports for each customer for tax purposes?

Hi msshe769,

Thank you for reaching out the Community. Let me guide and help you print the report in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

You can pull up the Transaction List by Customer report. This report shows you all the customer-related transactions, both income and expenses. To do this, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Reports.
  2. Enter Transaction List by Customer in the search field.
  3. Click on Customize and set the date range.
  4. Go to Rows/Columns.
  5. Place a checkmark beside the Taxable Amount and Tax Amount boxes.
  6. Go to Filters and choose a specific customer by clicking the Customer drop down.
  7. Click on Run report.

Then, click on the Print icon. Please know that the report groups transactions under each customer's name.

You can check out this article that will help you get a better idea in customizing and printing reports: Run Reports.

From there, you should be able to print the report in QBO.

I'd love to hear from you if you have further questions and I'm here to answer them. Have a wonderful day.
