How do I batch enter credit card charges in Quickbooks Online advanced?

Hello there.

Welcome to the community page. I'm here to assist you in entering your credit card charges in QuickBooks Online Advanced.

Since you've mentioned you wanted to add the charges from a spreadsheet, I'd recommend importing them into QBO. However, you'll need to follow a specific format for QBO to read it successfully. Check out this article to learn more about the correct formatting: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

After that, you can now upload them into QuickBooks Online. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon then select Import Data.
  2. Choose Bank Data and upload the CSV or Excel file to the dropbox.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Choose the appropriate Account.
  5. Set up your file with the correct format.
  6. Select all the transactions you want to import.
  7. Click Continue and import now.

After successfully uploading your credit card charges, you can categorize them to a specific account category in QuickBooks Online.

Please don't hesitate to leave a reply if you have additional concerns besides uploading credit card charges in QuickBooks Online. I'm always here to assist you.

@accounting-sprin

You can use csv2qbo converter tool as a workaround. It's a $60 one time license.
