How do I change from a facial id to a passcode?

Someone else needs to access the phone while I’m gone and I need to add a passcode instead of facial id.

How do I change from a facial id to a passcode?

We need to configure the security settings in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) app to enable the passcode option, Trloeffler. I'm happy to guide you through the steps to do this.

For iOS:

  1. Open the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app on your device and go to the Menu icon at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap your profile to view more details about your account.
  3. Click the Face ID and Passcode link and turn off the Face ID option.
  4. Enable the Passcode feature and set and confirm your new passcode.

For Android:

  1. Go to your device's settings.
  2. Look for the security or biometrics section.
  3. Find the option to switch from a Facial ID to a Passcode.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up a passcode
