How do I connect my Square checking account to QB online?Square is already connected but only showing incoming payments not outgoing from checking account.

I'll explain why outgoing payments are not showing up, Sweetie.

The Square app doesn't support money-out transactions, which is why it doesn't appear in QuickBooks. Alternatively, you can manually add them from the banking transaction tab.

Here's how:

  1. From the Left panel, select Transactions, then click the Bank transaction tab.
  2. Select the account you want to upload the transaction into.
  3. Click the Link account dropdown, then choose Upload from the file.
  4. Select Drag and drop or select files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, select Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, choose the account to upload the transactions into. Then, select Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you like to import. Then select Continue.
  8. Select Yes.
  9. Select Done.

I'm adding this article as further guidance in categorizing your transactions: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Keep us posted if you have other queries about checking transactions. We're here to help. Have a good day ahead.

@sweetiepiespound

You can use MT Online or one of the converter tools (e.g csv2qbo @ $60 one time license) as a workaround.
