How do I run a DETAILED P&L, not a standard? I pay $90/month and cant run this simple report?

We can run a Profit and Loss Detail report. This report provides a detailed breakdown of transactions.

Here's how: 

1. Go to Reports. 
2. Type Profit and Loss Detail in the search bar. 
3. You may click Customize and filter the rest of the information to your preference such as Date, Name, and so on. 
4. On the Profit and Loss Detail page, you can now see the breakdown of your transactions.

Extra spaces, misspelled words, and special characters can affect the system's ability to recognize the information you're referring to when searching a report in QuickBooks Online Accountant. That's why the exact data you need doesn't appear on your end. Therefore, please avoid them when utilizing the Search bar.

Alternatively, you can manually locate the report from the Reports tab. Here's how:

1. Head to Reports from the left pane.
2. Ensure you're on the Standard tab under the Reports page.
3. Scroll down to the Business overview section.
4. Find and select the Profit and Loss Detail report from the list.
5. Choose the appropriate Reporting Period and Accounting method. You can also customize your data to specify specific information you want to review.
6. Click on Run Report.

On the other hand, you might want to scan this material whenever you're required to save a copy of your report to your local hard drive: Export reports, lists, and other data from QuickBooks Online.
