I'll help you save a copy of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) data, brendastarr.

QBO lets you export reports and list out of the system by simply downloading them. Let me show you how to do it.

  1. Click Settings ⚙.
  2. Under Tools, select Export Data.
  3. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
  5. Click Export to Excel.

For non-posting transactions and attachments, they aren't included in Reports ad Lists. You need manually export them.

Check out this link for instructions: Learn how to download your data from QuickBooks Online. Then, proceed to

Export non-posting transactions and attachments and click each entry.

If you need to import data to QuickBooks Desktop, check out these links for the process. That way, you'll be able to identify what file types you can import.

Stay in touch with me if you have follow-up questions about saving a copy of your QBO information. I'm always right here to help you.
