How do I send Accountants Copy file in Intuit Quickbooks?

Welcome to the Community, @info1477.

In QuickBooks Online, you can add and give your accountant access to your QuickBooks Online company file and accounting info. This lets them review your books, make corrections, and fix any tricky transactions. It also makes it easier to collaborate, especially during tax season.

You'll want to invite an accountant, please follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a master admin.
  2. Go to the Settings  menu and then choose Manage users.
  3. Click the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Select Invite.
  5. Enter your accountant's info and select Save.

QuickBooks emails an invite to your accountant. The email has steps for how to connect your accounts.

Here's an article that may come in handy: How to manage an accountant user in QuickBooks Online.

As always, I'm only a few clicks away if you should have questions about this or anything else. Take care always.

I want to save the Accountants copy to a flash drive for the Accountant. I don't have quickbooks online.

I appreciate you providing information about your concern, @cre3-_ .

I can see how easy your work will be if you can send the Accountant's Copy to a flash drive. I'd be glad to walk you through the steps.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the File menu, then select Send Company File.
  2. Click Accountant's Copy, then choose Client Activities.
  3. Select Save File and click Next.
  4. Choose Accountant's Copy, then Next.
  5. Enter the dividing date.

Once saved, you can now put the file (.QBX) on a USB drive.
