Buy nowI've looked under Profile:Notifications and nothing there seems to indicate anything about emails about approvals. I get dozens of these weekly that is maddening. So before I set a gmail filter to automatically delete them (which I hesitate to do for good reasons) I need to find out how to do this natively in QuickBooks online.
Good day, @MattM_HWC.
Dealing with constant email notifications can be a real hassle, especially when they keep repeating the same thing. Fortunately, there is a way to disable this feature and put an end to receiving these notifications and I'd be glad to walk you through the process.
Here's how:
1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Under Your Company, click on Account and Settings.
3. In the Account and Settings menu, select Advanced.
4. Click on Automation, then click on Manage and again select Manage.
5. Under the Actions section, next to Run now, click Edit.
6. Then, click on Send reminder to your team via task.
7. Untick the boxes that you want to disable.
8. Hit Save to apply the changes.
I've included a screenshot to provide you with a full guide.

I do not have the gear icon on my login.
The Gear or Settings icon is located in the upper right corner when you log into your QuickBooks Online, Matt. Since this functionality is missing on your end, let's troubleshoot this matter.
Firstly, let’s determine if this issue is related to your browser. An overloaded cache can often cause lagging and formatting issues when navigating your QuickBooks account. To check it, try accessing your account using an incognito window.
Here are the shortcut keys to open an incognito window in different browsers:
Once there, log into your QuickBooks account and check if the Gear icon is visible. If this resolves the issue, I recommend clearing your browser's history and cache to improve performance. Additionally, please make sure that you're using a supported browser to maximize your QuickBooks activities.
For visual assistance, refer to the screenshot below to locate the Gear icon:
