How do you create a quarterly sales report, ie October 1 thru December 31.

in reports, enter sales in the search box, and choose the sales report you want

then set the date range using the drop down selector, or enter custom dates

Once you enter any sales transactions, QuickBooks automatically records them in the system. You'll want to run the Sales by Product/Service Detail report and customize it to last quarter. 

Here's how:

1. Click Reports on the left panel.
2. On the search bar, type Sales by Product/Service Detail report.
3. Under the Report period field, select Last Quarter.
   
4. Click Customize on the upper right corner.
5. Click Rows/Columns, place a check mark on the Product/Services and Open Balance boxes to show on your report.
   
6. Click Run report.
