How to change password

I know a way how to change your password in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Neilheil.

If you are trying to update your password when logging in to your QBO account, we have different ways how to do it. If you’ve already signed in to the program, just follow the steps below:

  1. Click your Profile icon next to the Gear icon, then select Manage your Intuit Account.
  2. In the Intuit Account Manager, select Sign in & security.
  3. Choose the User IDEmail addressPassword, or Phone section.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. When you're done, press Save.

We can also update your password directly in the Intuit Account Manager. Let me guide you on how:

  1. Sign in to the Intuit Account Manager. Use your sign-in info for QuickBooks, TurboTax, Mint, or our professional tax products.
  2. Click the Sign in & security menu.
  3. Choose the User IDEmail addressPassword, or Phone section.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. When you're done, press Save.

If you're unable to sign in to QBO, I've got an article that provides detailed step-by-step solutions that help you fix the error messages: Fix common sign-in errors in QuickBooks Online. To learn more about updating or changing your email address, user ID, password, and other information for your QuickBooks, TurboTax, or Credit Karma products, check out this article: Update or change your Intuit Account sign-in information.

I recommend visiting this link: Account Management. These will provide links about managing your QBO account, income, expenses, inventory, and running reports.

If there's anything else that I can help you with aside from managing your QBO account password or any QuickBooks-related, please let me know in the comments below. I'll be here ready to lend a helping hand. Have a good one.
