Thanks for your reply. Do you know if Quickbooks is actually planning on a fix anytime soon for this integration with Shopify Balance banking services?
We are many customers facing the same issue and looking for alternative. I am quiet sure this would take just a few hours for the developers to fix, this issue need to be escalated to the right team at Quickbooks so we can finally move on...

To provide some context, the Shopify team made a modification that disrupted our authentication process. We’ve been working with Shopify and our teams to resolve the matter, and we now have a resolution in place.

 

You will be able to connect Shopify Balance to QuickBooks Online now.

If true it is resolved I am glad to hear it.  This went unresolved for at least SEVEN months.  Based on your description of the root cause, I can’t even begin to understand how it could have taken this long.

 

This failure to address the problem in a reasonable timeframe also cost me at least 2 work weeks of additional effort working around it.  Canceled my QBO because of it.  Not sure I want to jump back in to that frying pan again

Hi, the connector is broken again.

If I try to connect while logged in to Shopify, I see this:

If I log out of Shopify before attempting, I see this:

I log in to Shopify using Google auth with two-factor auth enabled using an authenticator app.

Tried to connect Shopify Balance for a new client and got the same 571 error as posted in the thread. Shopify commerce also will not connect. Used different browsers/Incognito/all the scripted “did you try?” approaches. Nothing. I know how to import, but want to use the advertised connector. What is status?
