Buy nowI have very little computer experience. We are a nonprofit and have QB Plus. I have catergorized all of our bank transactions. So far, all donations have been made through venmo to our nonprofit checking account or given to us by checks and we have deposited them into our np checking account. The amounts of the donations don't show up with the donors. How do I fix this so that I can send donors an end of year receipt? Idk very much about this so I really need step by step instructions please.

Hi there, @Christa7173.
I can help you view the categorized entries to your donors profile.
Once you already categorized your banking transactions, all the transactions associated with the donor will be displayed in their profile by default.
We can perform some basic trouble shooting steps to fix the issue. QuickBooks Online uses browser cache and cookies to load pages faster on your next visit. At times, these files accumulate too much causing viewing/sync issues. To get started, open the Transaction List tab from the Donor page through a private or incognito window using these shortcut keys:
If the donations are now showing, go back to your main browser and clear the accumulated junk files. Alternatively, we can switch to other supported browsers to further isolate the problem.
Additionally, here's an article that you read to learn how to manage the donations you receive via credit card, bank transfer, or cash in QuickBooks Online: Track funds you receive from donors.
I'll also share these related article about donations in QBO:
I'm more than happy to lend a helping hand again if you have further questions about recording charity transactions or other functions in QuickBooks. Have a good one.

Thank you so much for offering to help! I am very computer illiterate and am grateful for any help you can give me.
I must have pressed something by mistake that made this say solved. It is not solved.
