I auto-pay my QB subscription with a credit that you have on file. I want to change to a new card.

How do I delete my current auto-pay credit card for my account and enter a new card number?

Hi Sam,

I'm here to help update your credit card number on your QuickBooks Desktop billing subscription.

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to the CAMPS page.
  2. Locate your subscription.
  3. Click Details.
  4. In the Billing Information section, find the payment method.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Update your credit card information.
  7. Click Save and Close.

Additionally, if you want to update your payroll billing information, you can check this article: Change your credit card for payroll billing.

Moreover, you can also pin this link in case you want to review your QuickBooks Desktop billing history: Manage QuickBooks Desktop account in one place.

Don't hesitate to post in the forum whenever you have concerns about your QuickBooks billing.

There isn't anything in the billing information to change.

Thank you for taking the time to follow my colleague’s suggestion and attempting to update your credit card information, @Humphrey. The ability to make changes to payment methods, such as updating credit card details, depends on the permissions granted within your account settings.

If you do not currently have the necessary permissions, I recommend reaching out to your account’s admin to request the appropriate access to update the payment information. Access restrictions are put in place to protect sensitive account activities, and only users with admin privileges can make these changes.

However, if you're already the primary admin and you’re still unable to make this update, there may be other factors involved that are preventing changes from being made. In this case, I would suggest contacting our QuickBooks Live Support Team directly. They are equipped to securely access your account details, review any potential restrictions, and provide you with personalized guidance on how to resolve the issue.

I appreciate your patience and understanding throughout this process. Please know that we’re working to ensure everything is set up correctly so you can continue focusing on your business with confidence. Thank you for choosing QuickBooks, and look forward to supporting your ongoing success. Take care!
