did you open the closed books before making the entry
is the entry dated in 2019
If you file under cash basis, and this is an unpaid invoice, it does not show until it is paid regardless of the year

I’m accrual. I actually don’t recall if I open 2019 back up prior to entering my 2019 journal entry.
