You can go to your bank register or use the magnifying glass to pull up and delete the check,
@tomu. Let me show you how to do this.
To begin with, deleting a check in QuickBooks Online (QBO) permanently erases the transaction record. This means it will no longer show up in reports, and the action cannot be undone. If the issue is only an incorrect check number, consider editing the check instead.
Using the Magnifying Glass:
- Click the Magnifying glass icon at the top center of your screen.
- Enter the incorrect check number and press Enter.
- Locate the check you created and open it.
- To delete it, click More at the bottom of your screen, then choose Delete. If you'd rather edit the check, update the check number in the Check number box, once done Save and Close.
If you don't remember the check number you've created, you can go to the Bank register.
Here's how:
- Go to the Transactions section.
- Choose the account where the check is saved, then click Go to Bank Register.
- Use the filter options to locate your check.
- Once found, click the check and hit Delete to remove it completely, or click Edit to make the necessary adjustments.
