Hello there, @britney-farlow.

I'm here to help you get this issue sorted out so you can get back to business.

If the estimate that you're working in was saved before QuickBooks restarted, you'll be able to pull up this information from the Customer Center section.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Customers menu at top.
  2. Select on Customer Center.
  3. On the Transactions tab, click Estimates.
  4. Change the Filter By drop-down menu to Open Estimates, and change the Date if needed as well.
  5. Click the Run Reports button.
  6. Hit on View as a Report.

If estimates are still missing, you can verify and rebuild your company file. This helps fix data-related issues in the program. You may follow the instructions found in this link to complete the process: Fix data damage on your QuickBooks Desktop company file.

However, if the estimate wasn't saved successfully in the system, you'll have to recreate it. Since QuickBooks Desktop does not retain the data that was entered and were not saved.

I'm also sharing here some resources that you can use on your future transactions, about customizing sales report and creating an invoice from estimates in QBDT:

You can always find me here if you have any other concerns. I'd be happy to help. Take care, and have a good one!
