I have set up QB Accountants and I'm based in Mauritius. I cannot change country and I'm requested to update my address with a US state

There is the US version with sales tax and US formatted adresses which is that it appears you have

and

there are global versions

https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/

 

Sounds like you need a global version
