I have verified that my login information is correct for both bank accounts on file. Why does QuickBooks continue to be unable to verify and update the system?

When I enter in the login information on both bank accounts on file, it says "Looks like the connection to (bank name) isn't available right now. Try again in a few hours. (4000)".

To get started, could you please confirm the name of your financial institution? We want to double-check and ensure accuracy.

 

In the meantime, I recommend logging into your bank's website to check for any messages, notifications, or alerts that may require your attention. Sometimes, bank system maintenance or server issues can lead to delays.

 

If everything is good, we can troubleshoot by manually updating your account to refresh the connection between your bank and the program.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to Profile ⚙ icon, then select Manage accounts under Transactions.
  3. Click the Refresh all button a couple of times to update your banks.

If the issue persists, sign in to QuickBooks using an incognito or private browser or try other browser troubleshooting options. You can also try to update again a day later, as your bank needs time to fix everything if there are issues.

The whole point of me having my transactions on QuickBooks is so that I can categorize them for easy bookkeeping for tax time. The financial institutions are Fort Community Credit Union and Greenwoods State Bank. There are no issues on the banks' ends. Everything is correct. I need additional assistance. I would appreciate it if you would troubleshoot by manually updating my account to refresh the connection between my banks and the program.

If you already followed the steps provided by my colleague and the issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed support. This will allow them to address your concerns and provide you with a solution using their tools.  

 

Kindly follow these steps:

 

  1. Go to (?) Help. This opens the QuickBooks Assistant window. If you’re using the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, tap the + button and select Ask QB Assistant.
  2. In the Type or Ask Something field, enter your inquiry.
  3. Press Enter on your keyboard to send it.

I keep getting this error message when trying to log into QuickBooks Online Plus.

Looks like the connection to First Horizon Bank isn’t available right now.

I haven't been able to connect 2 of my clients for 6 days now. This is extremely aggravating.
