Hey Sihab, are you looking to delete all your data and start fresh, or do you need help with removing or deactivating specific accounts in your Chart of Accounts, or are you considering canceling your subscription?
If you start over, it depends on whether your company file is less than 90 days old or more than 90 days old. If your books are 90 days old, follow the instructions to cancel your account. If your books are less than 90 days old, I suggest checking this article for further guidance in purging your company data: Delete your data and start over.
If you only need to remove a specific account in your Chart of Accounts, note that you can only make an account inactive, which hides it from reports but keeps it for historical data. To proceed, go to the Gear icon, select Chart of Accounts, in the dropdown menu at the side, and choose "Make inactive (reduce usage)".
If you are referring to deleting your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account, you will need to cancel the subscription first since there's no direct button for deletion. To start, go to the Gear icon at the top right corner of the page under the Profile Column, select Subscription and Billing. Find and click the Billing Info tab. Then, select Cancel subscription.
If you choose to permanently delete your Intuit and QuickBooks information, this action is irreversible. Submitting this request will result in the total loss of all your data, including company files, login credentials, and all associated services.
To proceed, sign in to the Intuit Account Manager. Select Data Privacy and Choose Delete. Click Make a delete request and follow the on-screen instructions to select the account and product data you want to delete. You will receive a final email confirming that the deletion request is successful.
