I need a report of customers with names, addresses, and amount of sales for a certain time frame, i.e. a year or two years. I will use this for a mail merge.

We're here to help, @redwrangler123. Let me show you how we can generate a report showing the customer's name, billing address, and total sales in a certain period in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Currently, we're unable to run a single report in QBO to display the information you need. However, we can pull up two separate reports and combine them by exporting them to Excel.

 

To do that:

 

  1. Go to Reports and search for the Customer Contact List report to view customers and their addresses.
  2. Click the Export icon dropdown beside the Gear icon and select Export to Excel.
  3. Go back to Reports and search for Sales by Customer Summary.
  4. Click Customize.
  5. Set the date range under the Report period section.
  6. Click Run report.
  7. Select the Export icon dropdown and click Export to Excel.

 

From there, we can combine your reports manually and customize them to our liking.

So, this report does NOT exist. Creating a manual report is not feasible with the number of customers we have on file.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter a brief description of your product suggestion and click Next.
  4. Type your email address.
  5. Once done, click Send Message.

Currently, this report is still unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I encourage you to submit your feedback directly to our Product Development team if you haven't done so already. Your suggestion could be considered for future updates.

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under Profile, select Feedback.
  3. Enter your product suggestions.
  4. Hit Next to submit.
