If I can't afford to renew my QB, will I lose all my data or can I continue using but without support?

I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income. If I can't afford to renew my subscription, will I lose all my data or can I continue to use QB but without support?

Good day to you, @oakhill12600. Thanks for posting your concern about your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) data when you don't renew your subscription. Let me provide details on how you can secure your financial data.

 

With the annual version of the QBDT program, you'll only be able to access the view-only mode for 1 year if you don't renew your subscription once it expires.

 

During that time, you won’t be able to edit your data with your inactive license. But you can renew your subscription or export your data. This only means that you'll have to reactivate your service to view and manage your data after 1 year.
