Intuit would not refund us for a subscription we had canceled and then got billed for because their system did not show that we had cancelled. How do we unlink bank info?

We are extremely displeased with this company and have been due to their increasing prices. We used to use desktop versions at $250 for at least 5 years, now they want $550 or online for over $1000 per year!!!!!!!! And now they are resorting to tricks such as not refunding billings that were not cancelled when we did cancel them. Where will this end?!!!

If you are working solo on a desktop (PC or Mac) to manage your book and only need basic features, you should explore another program. You can use the program for as long as you like, use all the features and enter as much data as required. There are no time limits, no usage limits, no ads (at this time). This program is quite popular in Asia and Europe.

We understand your point about this matter. We want to ensure you won't go through this kind of experience again and get the refund amount for canceling your QuickBooks subscription.

 

As much as I want to check this further for you, I don't have the chance to do it here in the Community for the security of your account and other personal information. 

 

For the time being, I recommend reaching out to our Support Team. They have tools to pull up your account and help you with the refund and unlinking your bank info.

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Choose Help (?).
  3. Click either tab to get started:
    • Assistant: Get quick, personalized answers. Select a suggested option, or type a question or topic you need help with. If you decide you need further help, you can still Talk to a human.
    • Search: Search the QuickBooks Online knowledge base directly, or select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
      • Start a chat with a support expert.
      • Get a callback from the next available expert.
      • Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours.

Don't give me these generic answers and assume I haven't already done that. This is where the refund was refused, after one hour on the phone. That call now costs my client additionally, and what purpose would doing the same thing again serve?
