You can consider running and customizing Transaction Detail by Account report to show the unpaid bills by Project. Let me guide you through the steps.
- Click Reports from the left menu.
- Search for Transaction Detail by Account report.

- Select the Customize button on the report.

- In the Report period from the drop-down, select the date you want to show on the report.
- Select Accrual from the Accounting method.
- In the Rows/columns drop-down, choose Customer and click Change columns.

- Put a checkmark to the A/P Paid checkbox.

- Go to the Filter section, then select the Projects from the Customer drop-down.
- Click Run report.
