Adding product pictures on invoices indeed enhances transactions and makes tracking much easier, Annie.
At the moment, the option to add images to each line item on invoices and estimates is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Nonetheless, there's a workaround you can consider.
You can use the Attachment feature, which allows you to include additional files, such as images, with your invoices and estimates. Here's how:
1. Click the + New icon. Then, choose either Estimate or Invoice.
2. Press the Attachment section.
3. Select the image you want to include in the transaction. You may attach multiple files. However, the total file size must not exceed 20 MB.
4. Ensure that you select the Attach to email option to incorporate the image when dispatching the invoice.
For now, consider submitting feedback to our product development team. They will carefully assess your suggestion and take it into account for potential future improvements.
Additionally, I'm adding this resource as an excellent reference for learning more about receiving and recording payments in QBO. Feel free to read this article: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
