Is there a way to delete tags and tag groups? I need to make some changes

Allow me to walk you through deleting tags, userm-rowenhorst.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Tags.
  2. Scroll-down a little bit to the Tags and Tag Groups section.
  3. Look for the tag that you want to delete.
  4. Click the drop-down list beside Run report, then select Delete tag.
  5. Select Delete.

You also have an option to edit tags if you just need to make changes:

  1. Click the Gear icon and select Tags.
  2. Find the tag or tag group you want to edit.
  3. Select the Action dropdown. Then select Edit tag or Edit group.

Is there a way to delete tags and tag groups? I need to make some changes

Is there a way to remove a tag from one transaction...for example I created a tag group that I need a receipt still.

I have the receipt and have uploaded it, but I cannot seem to delete the needs receipt tag from that one transaction.

I don't want to delate the tag entirely unless I cannot do it at the transaction level.

You can remove a tag on a specific transaction, rwells.

  1. Click Transactions on the left pane.
  2. Select Tags.
  3. Locate the tag, then click the blue link under TRANSACTIONS. 
  4. Check the box beside the transaction you want to remove the tag with.
  5. Click the Update tags dropdown.
  6. Select Remove tags.
  7. Check the tag you want to remove, then click Remove.

That should do it. You're now able to remove tags on a transaction level.

Is there a way to delete tags and tag groups? I need to make some changes

Is there a way to edit/delete just the tag group from a tag? I have Tag Group: "Vehicles" and each tag in that group is a different vehicle.  But when a repair invoice has two trucks on it, I can currently only tag one of teh vehicles.  I just want to remove the tag group so I can tag multiple trucks. (And would that be your recommended fix?) Thank you!

Thanks for joining the thread and sharing your concerns. 

 

Some of our other users have found it more beneficial to remove the current group and start fresh. You can use the steps I've included below to remove the group. 

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon and click on Tags.
  2. Scroll down a little bit to the Tags and Tag Groups section.
  3. Look for the tag that you want to delete.
  4. Click the drop-down list beside Run report, then tap on Delete tag.
  5. Hit Delete to confirm.
