It seems there’s no option to enter the Company ID along with SVB Bank login credentials in QuickBooks to link the bank account. Is there a workaround for this?

You can easily connect your bank to QuickBooks by following the onscreen steps and providing the necessary details, Xavier.

To clarify what you mean by "to enter the Company ID along with SVB login credentials"? Are you referring to entering your bank credentials when linking your SVB account in QuickBooks?

If that's the case, there's no need to enter your company ID when linking your bank. You only need to provide the information requested in the pop-up screen, which typically includes your SVB login credentials.

Here's how to connect your bank:

  1. Go to Bank transactions and select Link account.
  2. Search for your bank by URL or name, or select a bank from the list.
  3. Sign in to your bank by entering your banking credentials. Then select Continue.
  4. Choose the account that you want to connect to and the dates to pull transactions from the dropdown.
  5. Click Connect.

I am having the same problem.

In the past week quickbooks stopped syncing to SVB bank and now when I try to reconnect it says to enter username and pin.

The login to SVB takes a company id, user id, and password not a username and pin. I can't find anyway to reconnect SVB and get it syncing again.

Please investigate and suggest a solution.

You can reach out to your bank to check for any updates and determine the specific details to enter in the username and PIN fields in QuickBooks, @Neoveri.

To begin with, please note that QuickBooks only relies on information released by your bank. I recommend reaching out to your bank to check for any updates and notifications regarding the login credentials required to reconnect to QuickBooks.

In the meantime, I suggest manually uploading your transactions from your bank or credit card to QBO. Follow the steps below:

  1. In the Accounting menu, select Bank Transactions.
  2. Choose the account you want to upload transactions to.
  3. Click the Link account dropdown, then choose Upload from file.
  4. Select the file you downloaded from your bank, or drag and drop it into the designated area. Then, select Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions to, then click Continue.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to match the columns in the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then select Continue.
  7. Select the transactions you want to import, then select Continue.
  8. Click Yes to confirm the upload, and then click Done to complete the process.
