log in verification

How do I stop ALL log in verifications? I NEVER want to verify while logging in. I don't want a text code. I don't want an email code. I don't want to sing, dance, show ID, or whatever pita steps I QBOA requires before allowing me to log in. I'm fine with the 'send me a text' (I HATE &^%$#$ passwords). But after that?......JUST....LOG.....ME IN!! Thanks all

log in verification

Let me share some insights on Intuit protects your account, Ken62.

The multi-factor authentication is the default security feature to help protect your account. Once you sign in through a new browser or a device for the first time, it will require you to enter the one-time confirmation code sent to your email.

On the other hand, the two-step verification is a security setting that requires you to verify your identity using a code sent to your mobile phone each ie you access your account. Once turned on, this disables the usual multi-factor authentication. If you want to turn this off, you can follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Intuit account.
  2. From the left menu, choose Sign In & Security.
  3. In the “Two-step verification” section, select Turn off.
  4. Enter the code, then select Continue.

Feel free to visit our Account Management page for more tips and resources in managing your security preferences and personal information.
