Hi there, @CBent. Dealing with login issues during tax season can be challenging. To clarify, are you trying to access QuickBooks Online or the Desktop Pro 2016 program? If you’re using QBO, we can recover your account. The quickest way is to go to the Intuit sign-in page and select I forgot my user ID or Password. Just enter your phone number or email and hit Continue.
If you’ve lost access to those, you can use the account recovery form instead. You’ll need to verify your identity by uploading a photo of a valid ID, but it’s a reliable way to ensure you aren't locked out. On the other hand, if you're using Desktop Pro 2016, things are a bit trickier. As this version has been discontinued, it no longer receives critical security updates, which often results in login issues and errors.
