Hi there, @ashbert-inc-me-c.

To clarify, are these transactions coming from your bank feeds? QuickBooks relies on the data your bank shares with us. Make sure to categorize them properly by selecting the correct income account. You can undo and review it again under the For Review tab.

 Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Choose the Banking tab.
  3. Locate the account where the credit card transactions are recorded.
  4. Scroll to the Categorized or In QuickBooks tab.
  5. Search for the recorded wire income.
  6. From the Action column, click Undo.

Then, here's how to review them:

  1. Go to the For Review tab.
  2. Select the transaction to expand the view.
  3. Review the recommended Category. This is the account QuickBooks wants to categorize the transaction into. You can always change the category and put it in a different account.
  4. Change the vendor or customer as needed.
  5. When everything looks good, select Add.

With regards to the Cost of Goods Sold, when you sell an item from your inventory, it increases by the amount you paid for that item when you purchased it. It should reflect in your reports on Accrual basis.

If they're still missing, let's perform basic troubleshooting to sort it out. It can be the result of outdated or corrupt cache files in your web browser. We can clear them in just a few easy steps.

Let's start by accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

If it's responsive, I recommend that you clear your browser's cache. By clearing them, you can remove that historical data and access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with your browser.

Should you need any additional assistance while managing your bank transactions, you can leave a comment below. I'll be sure to get back to you.

Hi there, @Dayalexa.

Are these transactions come from your linked bank account in QuickBooks Online?

If so, the way QuickBooks categorizes downloaded banking transactions depends on how your bank approved them. As mentioned above, the program directly relies on the data your bank shares with us.

For now, you can manually exclude these transactions to correct your records. I'd also recommend reaching out to your financial institution to verify the issue. Here's how to exclude them from the Banking page.

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu and select the Banking tab.
  2. Click the For Review tab, then select the checkbox of the transactions to exclude.
  3. Select Exclude.

In the meantime, you can manually import your transactions into QuickBooks. This way, you can categorize and put them in the correct accounts
