My prior period comparison in my balance sheet is pulling the prior year from 3 years ago. We have closed the books each year. I want to pull last fiscal year. How?

You can modify the dates displayed in your Balance Sheet Comparison report to show the previous fiscal year instead of a year from three years back in QuickBooks Online.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Go to the Reports menu and search for Balance Sheet Comparison. Click to open it.
2. Set the fiscal year from the Report period.
3. Click the Compare another period box and set the desired fiscal comparison period.
4. Click on Run report to generate your customized report.
