No Manage Users button is present

Hello there, Peggy. Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to ensure you can access the Manage Users button in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In QBO, the ability to manage user profiles is granted only to users with specific permissions. Therefore, it's crucial to verify your access rights within your client's QBO account to ensure you can add a user to their company. For more details, please see this article: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online.

If the issue persists even after confirming your access rights, let's isolate the problem by signing in to your account using an incognito browser. Utilize the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

Then, access the Manage Users through the Gear icon. Once resolved, you can return to your original browser to clear its cache or utilize another compatible one. It may be a temporary issue with QBO or the window you're using.

Additionally, consider utilizing the audit log to monitor user activity and track changes made to your books.

Feel free to revisit this post if you need further clarification on managing users in QBO. Our team is dedicated to assisting you at any time. Stay safe, and have a great day.
