Let’s work together to uncover what’s causing this and restore your invoices to proper order, Jason.
Before troubleshooting, please verify your products and services for any configuration changes. The default invoice rate depends on how these are set up.
If a product or service is set to a Flat rate, you can modify it by selecting the product or service and switching it to a Quantity rate. After making the change, click the Update button to save and apply the adjustments. Kindly refer to the screenshot below:

If your products and services are correctly set up, I suggest refreshing the app’s data to help resolve common issues preventing your invoice from saving properly.
Here's how to refresh data in the QBO app:
- Open the app and go to the Menu.
- Tap the All option then choose Intuit Account & Settings.

- Select Refresh Data.

- Tap Refresh Now to confirm.
Should the problem persist, the next step is to clear or offload the app’s data to refresh the application and eliminate any potential causes of freezing or saving problems.
Here's how:
- Go to your device's settings.
- Find and tap the Apps option.
- Scroll through the list and select the QBO app.
- Tap on Storage.
- Select Clear Data or Offload the app, depending on your mobile operating system.
Alternatively, you can uninstall and reinstall the mobile app to have a fresh installation of the QuickBooks software application with all the latest updates and bug fixes.
