It's a good thing you've added further details about your concern.  Let me share some possible reasons why the system isn't displaying the drop box when logging in to the bank's website.

 

If it's your first time to connect the account in your book, maybe the bank account has multiple names on our list. This is one of the common reasons which triggered to connect the account in QuickBooks Online.

 

With that being said, let's ensure to select the correct link of the bank. It would be best to copy the URL from your bank's website to ensure that you'll be using the right one when linking that account. 

 

Aside from that, there are still more reasons that you can find here. Once you're done exploring the article, let's try to connect the account one more time. To guide you further, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Within the Banking page, click Connect account if it's your first time to link an account in your book. If it's not, click Add account at the upper-right corner.
  2. Enter the URL of your bank. 
  3. Select the type of account you want to connect.
  4. Click Connect.

As long as it's supported by QuickBooks, we should be able to connect and view the display drop box. Then, enter the username and password you use for your bank's website.

2. At the top right, click the Help icon.

3. Click Contact Us.

4. Under What can we help you with?, enter your concern about unable to connect the bank.

5. Click Let's Talk.

6. You'll be routed into the Choose a way to connect with us page. Then, click the Get a callback.

7. The contact information windows displays.

8. Enter your contact information and pick the Call me button.

 

You'll see confirmation of your request and the estimated time until a support agent calls you back.
