Join nowI have been a QuickBooks Proadvisor since 1996 and I have never had such poor customer services than I've had in the past 3 month's. So I am reaching out to the community to see if there is anything that you all know of that could help me with the current situation. I have a client that I have been trying to reactivate their payroll. The issue was that the credit card expired, client has been with the orignaization for about 15 years and did not realize that the prior director was still the primary payroll contract, (the current director doesn't even know who the prior director was). To shorten this. The information requested -form, dl's, board approval letter, organizational documents have been submitted 4 times with 5 cases and no one can resolve the client having an active payroll or access. This is causing serious issues and has been going on for 3 months. 30159

Let me provide insights on how changing the primary principal works in QuickBooks Desktop and route you to the right support team to assist you further.
Since you've mentioned that the needed documents to modify the primary principal have already been submitted, please know that the changes take 3–5 banking days from the date we receive the documents. You’ll then get a status email from us.
However, since you did not receive the confirmation email within the time range, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Support Team again. They're the best support group for such inquiries as they can request account information. This allows them to check the request status and assist in activating the client's payroll account.
