Buy nowI have QB for Etsy. When an inventory item sale is made, it posts on my sales transactions automatically but does not update my inventory quantity. How to I adjust the product quantity without it posting twice as a sell, and how do I ensure it is reconciled with COGS for the product?

To match the amount of an item you actually have in stock, you can manually adjust the number without recording a sale twice.
Here's how:
Note: QuickBooks Online automatically records the necessary adjustments to your stock Asset and Cost of Goods Sold (under stock Shrinkage) accounts when you save the inventory adjustment.
