I have client that has QB Enterprise 2024 and I need to give her from my QBDT Accountant 2024 Edition data on her company so she can take over processing their payroll. How do I go about this?
Open the file on your machine, create the backup file (*.qbb) and ask your client to restore it on their QBD Enterprise.
Have done that. But need to have payroll account go onto her Enterprise account and come off my Accountant's Payroll subscription.
Hey VBS!
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! The option to export and import payroll transactions is currently unavailable in Quickbooks Desktop. You may need to enter those payroll transactions manually. Another option would be to use a third-party application. You can browse our QuickBooks App Market.
To learn more about the different data you can transfer to and from QuickBooks Desktop, you can use this article as a guide: Import and export data in QuickBooks Desktop.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns! I will be around to help. See you soon.
Re-read previous. They already have the data file on their Enterprise program. Just need to update it to their payroll subscription and direct deposit features.
Your client is using Enterprise Gold, correct? After they restore the file, they just need to activate the payroll module and direct deposit feature.
Thank you for your response. Intuit is having her jump through hoops to get her changed over to be the Administrator for the account now. They are wanting an "Operating Agreement" !! Pain in the tush !!
