QuickBooks app on iPhone and how to enter more than 1credit card for a company

In this post, I'm inquiring about the QB app that is only used for uploading bills, documents, and receipts for charges on credit cards (& can track vehicle mileage too). The app is version v3.2.0. I have several companies on my QB app on iphones. Each company has more than one credit card. Currently, we only have one card entered per business but I need to add other credit cards to the app so I can upload receipts to the appropriate credit card, i.e. Biz Card, Lowe's Card, Home Depot Card, etc. How do I enter multiple credit cards to a company on the app?  TIA for replies!!

I'll walk you through connecting a bank account in your QuickBooks Online mobile app, @SG123.

Here's how to set up a bank account in your QuickBooks Online account.

  1. From the main menu, select Banking.
  2. Click + to add an account.
  3. Search your bank name or choose from the list of popular banks.
  4. Choose your bank from the search results.
  5. Sign in to your bank.
  6. Follow the steps to select an account you want to connect to.

Here is an article for the detailed steps of the process: Connect your bank account to the mobile app.

Once the transactions are downloaded, you can then categorize them.

QuickBooks app on iPhone and how to enter more than 1credit card for a company

@Ethel I appreciate the info but that isn't my problem.  I'm not trying to connect a bank account. I'm working with an app on my phone trying to connect receipts to charge cards. The only thing this app is used for is to take a picture of and upload the pictures as a document, Bill or receipt. A person can also track vehicle mileage on this app. That is all the app does - nothing more. This is different than QBs online or desktop. Anyway, I have more than one charge card for my business. I have one credit card loaded to the app so I can hook receipts to that charge card when I use it. I can't figure out how to hook another charge card to this QuickBooks app on my cell phone. I have another credit card that I need to populate to the app.  This is a green app on my cell phone that has a computer screen in the green square and the word QuickBooks.  Maybe this is something that can only be done on a desktop computer and can't be done by phone. My secretary says she can't figure out how to do it on a desktop computer. There has to be a way. Please help!

QuickBooks app on iPhone and how to enter more than 1credit card for a company

Hello there, SG123.

Allow me to help you in adding a credit card account in QuickBooks Desktop.

That's right, the QuickBooks Desktop iOS mobile app can only help you scan receipts and bills and track business mileage.

To add a credit card account, you must add it to QuickBooks Desktop, which is installed on your computer. I'll show you how to do it:

In QuickBooks Desktop Windows

  1. Go to the Lists menu, then Chart of Accounts.
  2. In the Accountdropdown, click New.
  3. Select an account type, then Continue.
  4. Complete the account details.
  5. Hit Save & Close.

In QuickBooks Desktop for Mac

  1. Go to the Lists menu, then Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click Create +.
  3. From the Type ▼dropdown, choose the account type.
  4. Complete the account details.
  5. Select OK.

If you need to set up bank feeds, you can follow the steps provided in this article: Set up or edit bank accounts for Bank Feeds in QuickBooks Desktop.

Get back to this Community thread if you still have other questions or concerns about QuickBooks Desktop or the mobile app. I'd be glad to help. Take care!
