Setting a schedule to automatically send reports is only applicable to custom reports. Management reports cannot be automatically sent. The process of sending it is manual. I've laid the instructions below for you to follow:

I am getting some old data each month in an automated report and I am trying to stop it.

Is there a way to send the Management report in a excel format? I only see PDF and DOC as options.
