There isn't a need to speak with an expert or one of our support to learn more about limiting users' access rights in QBO. Yes, you can limit users to have view-only access with the Standard User role. With this, you can restrict users from changing any content in your QBO account. To do this, set the user's access rights to the None option, where they're unable to use any of the accounting features. But you can still let them manage (view) certain things and submit their time sheets. Please see the screenshot below for your reference.
