How canI see a year to year comparison by account?

I'll make sure you're able to see a year-to-year comparison by account information in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @boostcycle.

Financial reports give you a snapshot of your business. You can run the Balance Sheet or Profit and Loss Comparison report to view last and current year's data by account. Doing so will let you compare your current assets, liabilities, and income and expenses to last year. To do this, here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu.
  2. In the Standard tab, go to the Business overview section, choose the comparison report you want to run (Balance Sheet or Profit and Loss Comparison). 83.jpg
  3. Customize the report to focus on specific accounts and see the details that matter to you the most. 82.jpg

Then, you can refer to these articles to learn more about running a Profit and Loss Comparison report and how you can filter it by account:

Also, to further guide you in pulling up financial reports and how you can customize and memorize them in QBO, I'd recommend checking out this article: Manage Reports Help Articles for QuickBooks Online.

I'm all ears if you have other reporting concerns in QBO. You can drop a comment below, and I'll gladly help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @boostcycle
