How do I access the left toolbar? I've cleared my cache, accessed QBO on multiple incognito browsers, but I am still unable to access the left Toolbar on QB Solopreneur.

Yes, I've tried clicking on the hamburger stack icon, and all it does is hide the limited toolbar I have now (which shows Dashboard, Transactions, Get Paid, Customers and Goals, Reports, Taxes, Mileage, and Banking Services). No access to Apps or any other items normally on the left toolbar. I see this question a lot in forums, but so far no helpful solution from Intuit, just telling us to clear our cache and try incognito browsers. I am in the USA, there's no reason for this to be blocked. Trying direct links to the sync with Etsy and PayPal apps takes me to error pages. This is the only reason I got QBO, which by the way was heavily advertised to me on Etsy. I will be requesting a refund if I cannot use this feature.

Let me clarify the differences between QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Solopreneur, @knormally.

QBO and QuickBooks Solopreneur are distinct products with different feature sets. Currently, you’re using QuickBooks Solopreneur and not QBO.

QBO is a comprehensive accounting solution ideal for small to mid-sized businesses. It provides advanced features such as integration with third-party apps, bank reconciliation, detailed financial reporting, and much more. On the other hand, QuickBooks Solopreneur is tailored for individual entrepreneurs and freelancers, offering a simpler set of tools suited for managing finances with less complexity. Essentially, QuickBooks Solopreneur has a limited scope.

For a detailed comparison, I’ve included a screenshot showing their different user interfaces:

If you’re looking for more advanced accounting features, consider subscribing to QBO by visiting this link: Plans and Pricing.

I'll also share these articles to learn more about QBO and QuickBooks Solopreneur:

Additionally, you can use the QuickBooks mobile app to capture and upload receipts with QuickBooks Solopreneur.
