Is there a way to batch void checks in QB online?

I’m glad to see you in the Community, userdbarshay.

Allow me to share some information on how to manage your checks in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

The functionality to void checks by batch is unavailable in the online program at this time. We’ll have to remove the transactions one at a time. I’m here to help make sure you can perform this task with just a few clicks.

Here’s how:

  1. In your company, tap the Expenses menu on the left panel and choose the Expenses tab.
  2. On the Expense Transactions page, tick the box for the entry you wish to void.
  3. Then, click the drop-down under the Action column to select Void.void checks.png
  4. Press the Yes button to confirm the action.
  5. Follow the same process for the remaining checks you’re going to remove.

I recognize the importance of being able to void transactions by batch. Adding this feature is convenient for your business and other customers. I suggest sending feedback directly to our engineers for inclusion in a future enhancement.

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper right and select Feedback under Profile.
  2. This will open the Feedback screen.
  3. From there, enter your suggestions and tap the Next button to submit.

To stay up to date about the latest improvements and features in QBO, I invite you to visit theQuickBooks Blog. It also contains resources on how to make your business grow.

For future reference, the following links provide an overview about removing checks and other transactions. From there, you’ll learn when to use the Void or Delete feature and clear a check without opening it.

Feel free to leave a comment below if you have questions on how to handle expense transactions in QBO. I’ll jump right back in to help and make sure you’re taken care of. Enjoy the rest of the day.
