Is there a way to customize a P&L report to present multiple quarters for multiple years?

QuickBooks Online (QBO) offers various options to personalize reports. You can filter and format the layout to display only relevant information. Let me guide you on how to customize your Profit and Loss report. 

 

To generate a report for a specific month or multiple quarters:

 

  1. Go to Reports
  2. From the find report by name, enter Profit and Loss by Month
  3. From the Display columns by dropdown, select Quarters. 
  4. Once done, click Run Report

To generate a report that covers data from multiple years:

 

  1. Go to Reports
  2. From the find report by name, enter Profit and Loss by Month
  3. From the Report period dropdown, select All Dates
  4. From the Display columns by dropdown, select Years. 
  5. Click Run Report.
