It's nice to have you here, sudeshna-chakrab.

The Sales Tax Liability report shows only the following columns: Tax NameGross Total, Non-Taxable, Taxable Amount, and Tax Amount. There is no sumtotal button. See attached screenshot below:

Also, when you export this report, the option to click the hyperlink in the total is unavailable.

Hi co-ordinator

Thanks for the reply, could you help us in understanding if there is any other alternative method or any other report that we could run as manually, clicking on one by one line would be time consuming , because when we click on the sumtotal we can get the entire report extracted, is there any other alternative/

Thanks

Sudeshna

I know a report that can provide the details you need, Sudeshna.

In QuickBooks Online, you can run the Transaction Detail by Account report to view both sides of your transactions. This report includes the type of transaction, date, account, subtotals, and totals. It’s also the closest report you can generate to see the tax amount in each transaction.

Here’s how:

  1. Select the Reports menu.
  2. Enter/select Transaction Detail by Account.
  3. Click Customize.
  4. Select the date period.
  5. Under Rows/Columns, select Tax Amount.
  6. Press Run report.

I’ve attached a reference in case you want to keep the same report settings for future use: Memorize reports in QuickBooks Online. It helps you access the information quickly to save time.
