There are two reasons why it's not showing in your books, Susan.
- If you're not the primary admin, the Chart of Accounts may not include in your access.
- Another reason might be an issue with your web browser causing unexpected behavior.
To resolve this, you can contact your primary admin to request access to the Chart of Accounts. On the other hand, you can perform the troubleshooting steps below.
Access your QuickBooks Online in a private browser to confirm if the problem you're experiencing is due to your browser settings or extensions. Here are the shortcut keys:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Option + P
If it works, clear the browser cache to boost your browser's speed and overall performance. You can also use another browser.
Additionally, you can choose to bookmark the Chart of Accounts for quick access from the left menu. Here's how:
- Click the Edit icon for Bookmarks in the left menu.
- Select the Chart of Accounts box.
- Click Save to confirm the changes.
