Receipt and customers history

When i checked a customer out, i forgot to pull up their account before doing so. Is it possible to scan the receipt into the customers account so we can track their buying / returning history?

Here's how you can track the customer's buying/returning history, DUMAstaz.


You can either scan the receipt to locate it easily, and save it into the customer's account. 

  1. Scan the receipt.
  2. The Sales History window will open.
  3. Click on the receipt and add/edit a customer. 
  4. Click on Save Only.

In the future, you can choose to set up the customer information in all entry.

  1. Please go to the File menu. 
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Choose Company.
  4. Select Customers.
  5. In Customer Tracking Options section, check the Require customer entry in all receipts box.

Receipt and customers history

Easier way to do this:


1. Go to "sales history" and find the transaction, click on it to highlight it in the list.

2. Click "I want to..." (green drop-down box) and click "change/edit customer".

3. Enter the customer's name. If you have previous sales, it should pop up in a list.

4. Click OK.
