We always aim QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) into an all-in-one tool for all kinds of self-employed businesses, travis-travelste.

The option to show the full details of the receipts on the Transactions page would certainly be beneficial to your business. However, this is unavailable in QBSE.

In the meantime, we need to manually open the receipt and move the scroll button to see the details.

To learn more about receipts, please check out this article: Should I keep my receipts in QuickBooks?.

I have a link here that contains articles about managing your business into your account: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/get-started/07?product=QuickBooks%20Self-Employed.

Please touch-based with me if you need a hand with running transaction reports or any QBSE related. I'll be here to help.

Thanks for the quick response.

I understand that I have to click on the view button to see the image of the receipt. The problem is I am unable to scroll the full length of the receipt not allowing me to view the necessary information. This is mainly when trying to view receipts uploaded through the phone app using the snapshot tool.

Hello, @travis-travelste.

When viewing long receipts in QuickBooks, just hover your mouse to the receipt and wait for the four-headed icon to appear. Then, drag the invoice to view the other part of it.
