Received an invitation from an accountant to be able to access the clients books as an accountant. Still can't access account

Hi Everyone,

 

My client's CPA sent me an invitation to have access to the client's books as an accountant. 

I click the link and I log in and all I can see is an older client but not the client that I have been granted access to. 

I asked the CPA to resend an invitation but I have the same problem.

Any one encountered this problem?

I don't have a problem logging in and the invitation didn't expire.

We didn't receive a report about this error, yarontalmor.

 

You'll want to inform the firm owner or the accountant with admin access to make sure the client is selected. They can assign which client you can have access to.  Here's how:

 

  1. Go to Clients.
  2. Find your client, then select Edit client.
  3. Go to the Team access section, then select +Show all team members.
  4. Select the team member you want to grant or remove access.
  5. Select Save.

However, if the client is already selected and the same error persists, let's try browser troubleshooting.

To start with, you can use a private browser or incognito to check if this is a browser issue. You can check below for the keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using.


Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If it works without the error, please clear the cache. This way to refresh your server and boost the browser's performance.
