Recently changed to QB Online from Desktop. Trying to run a Checking History report. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get the same info using QBO?

I thought I could run a Deposit Detail then Check Detail, but the reports don't total, I'd have to export and make quite a few changes.  Is there a way to get a total on these reports?

I understand that you want to run the Checking History report after switching from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online. I'll share some details about how your data are converted.

 

Run the Profit and Loss standard and Balance Sheet standard reports in accrual basis to ensure that your data was successfully copied. Then, compare these reports in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.

You're on the right track. You can export your reports and make some changes to match the totals of the Deposit and Check Detail reports. You can also customize your report to control the details and layout so that it appears in the right place.

Thank you for such a quick response last week. I thought I had responded to you, but I don't see in this string it so I must have missed a step.

 

I was surprised that there is no way to run the Checking History report without having to run two reports, export, and then edit to get the info. I was able to get what I needed though, it just takes more time than it used to. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I use it:)
